Marea

Marea is a stunning and substantial 6 bedroom (4 x double bedrooms, 2 x twin bedroom, which can be made up as doubles), 5 bathroom villa frontline and overlooking the Port and Marina of Addaia. Recently fully rebuilt, renovated and furnished to the highest standards, this villa offers a fully luxurious feel with amazing sea views from the whole of the rear of the property.

On entering the villa, you enter the entrance hall and this leads straight to the large lounge with high-sloping ceilings. Equipped with Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player, the lounge has floor to ceiling patio doors offering beautiful views of the Marina and leading out onto a large wrap-around terrace, with outdoor seating areas. There is also an office area off the lounge, again overlooking the Marina.

Turning right from the entrance hall and down a few steps, you will enter the ultra modern kitchen, with cream units and granite worktop. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large electric oven and hob, American style double fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, air fryer, wine cooler fridge and CD music system. There is a dining table and chairs should you wish to eat inside. From the kitchen there are three floor to ceiling double patio doors leading on to the huge pool terrace area. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Steps lead down again from the hallway to four of the bedrooms. 2 twin bedrooms (which can both be made into Super King doubles, with fitted wardrobes, dressing table and bedside tables and patio doors leading to the garden. A double King Size bedroom with standalone wardrobe. These two bedrooms share a large, stylish shower room with walk-in shower, sink and WC.

Further along the corridor is another King Size double bedroom, again with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and patio doors leading on to the garden and outside terrace area with plenty of seating It has its own En Suite shower room. There is also another King Size bedroom with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, patio doors leading to the garden and En Suite walk-in shower room; WC and double sink.

Turning left from the entrance hall there is a cloakroom with WC and sink. Further along a corridor is a Super King double bedroom, with full bathroom En Suite, comprising a walk-in shower, WC, sink and bidet. Again this room has lovely high ceilings ensuring the villa will stay cooler over the hotter months. The bedroom has patio doors leading on to the large wrap-around terrace with comfy sofas and views over the Marina.

From the entrance hall up a few stairs is the Master bedroom with King size bed. En Suite bathroom with a large walk in shower, WC, double sink and bidet. In the main bedroom itself is also a free standing bath that overlooks the Marina. There are floor to ceiling patio doors leading to a private terrace overlooking the Port. In between the bedroom and En Suite is an office area and a large walk-in dressing room with fitted wardrobes.

All 6 bedrooms have air conditioning and heating.

Outside the villa, there is a large covered terrace, and an area with a built-in BBQ with a food preparation area and sink. There is a large swimming pool 14m x 5.5m. The pool also has an internal whirlpool at one end. The tiled pool terrace has ample room for the 12 sun loungers and again, this overlooks the Port and Marina offering stunning sea views.

The villa is close to the area´s variety of bars, restaurants and shops, both in the main town and down in the Marina. Nearby are the larger resorts of Son Parc, Arenal d’en Castell and Fornells, or for something quieter and more local, there is the quaint little beach of Na Macaret also a short drive away.

The villa is ideal for larger number family´s or groups and offers the ultimate in luxury and modern living with unforgettable sea views.

Journey time by car to Mahon and the airport is approximately 25 minutes and 45 minutes for Ciutadella, Menorca’s imposing former capital, dominating its west coast and many natural beaches and coves.

Area:

Port Addaia in Menorca is a sheltered fishing and sailing port on the north east of the island. The large natural harbour inlet is surrounded by rugged farmland whilst the old tower of Torre d’Addaia dominates the entrance to the beautiful estuary where you can dive and fish. The whole area is renowned for its beauty, beaches, scuba diving and bird watching with many country walks and cycling trails clearly signposted. Over the last few years Addaia has become an attractive area of quality residential properties built around a smart marina, home to private yachts and boats. One of the best sailing schools in the Mediterranean is in Fornells, within 30 minutes from Addaia.

Addaia has a selection of shops and restaurants in the main town area as well as a well stocked supermarket. There is also a tapas bar/restaurant down on the harbour overlooking the water. A scenic coastal footpath winds its way around Addaia with spectacular views out to sea and over to nearby Macaret. For those who like a little more life, the busier resort of Arenal d’en Castell is approximately 5 minutes by car, with its 650m of sandy beach where you will find bars and restaurants. If you like seafood, a trip to Fornells is a must!
