Main Description of the Villa:

This beautiful, private villa offers luxurious and very comfortable accommodation.  It is situated on a quiet lane in the small country village of Torret.  It is nestled in the heart of the countryside on a large plot providing peace, quiet and tranquility and yet it is walking distance from three excellent restaurants and is within easy reach of bars restaurants and shops via car.

There is a large circular driveway providing ample parking for several cars.  You will enter the villa in to a hallway from which the large lounge is accessed, with high beamed ceilings, ceiling fan and wood burning stove.  In the lounge are large comfortable sofas, lounge chairs and coffee table.  All the furniture in the room is of an exceptionally high standard and ensures the villa has a homely feel.

To the left of the lounge you will find two of the bedrooms.  One twin room and a double bedroom which has a double bed and sofa and patio doors providing access in to the beautiful garden and stunning views of the countryside.  Both rooms each have wardrobes, ceiling fans and air conditioning as well as ensuite bathrooms with a bath with shower over, sink, bidet and WC.

To the right of the lounge is the open plan kitchen/dining area.  The ample kitchen has a gas hob with 5 rings, large electric oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, small fridge and all the crockery, utensils and equipment necessary for the family self-catering holiday.  It has a filter tap allowing guests to drink water straight from the source rather than having to use bottled water.  From the dining area is a utility room with washing machine, sink and large fridge freezer.

Leading from the dining area is a TV room with large comfortable sofas, flat screen TV and the use of Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC i-player etc.  In addition, there is a DVD player.

Along a corridor here you will find two further bedrooms.  Both with double beds, fully fitted wardrobes, high ceilings and air conditioning.  One of the doubles has its own shower room next door with large walk-in shower, sink, bidet and WC.  The other bedroom has an ensuite shower room with a large shower, sink, bidet and WC.

From the entrance hallway is a small cloakroom with sink and WC and stairs leading to the master bedroom upstairs.  This has a beautiful four poster bed, TV, ceiling fan and air conditioning.  There is a dressing area and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and two vanity units.

Patio doors from the lounge and kitchen lead to a beautiful terrace.  The terrace is equipped with a large portable BBQ, chairs for relaxing in a shaded area and a large table for alfresco dining which can comfortably seat 12 people.  From the terrace are views of the lawned areas with two pergolas providing privacy away from the villa.  The pool with Roman steps is 16.6m x 5.8m, so big enough to swim laps!  In addition, it is hidden from the house, at the end of the garden, so provides privacy should you want it.  The tiled pool terrace has ample room for the sun loungers a table tennis table and there is also a constructed barbecue area with fridge, sink and worktop for food preparation.  The WiFi and Sonos sound system (which is available in the house) reaches this area so you can play music whilst enjoying your barbecue or swimming in the pool.

Torret is an excellent choice for those visitors who wish to feel like they are in the middle of nowhere and yet have supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and beaches within a very short distance by car.

Area:

The hamlet of Torret oozes traditional Menorcan architecture with Bougainvillea draped over the whitewashed houses. Torret boasts a couple of fine restaurants including Pan y Vino and Sa Pedrera d’es Pujol, both with wonderful food and fantastic service.

Less than a kilometre is the nearby village of S’Ullastrar (S’Uestra), where you will find a couple of very good restaurants a traditional Italian and wonderful Menorcan restaurant with a pretty outside dining area, it is also home to the well stocked supermarket Sa Botiga with everything from fresh bread to locally made sausages.

The town of Sant Lluis can be reached within 2 minutes by car where you will find banks, pharmacy, post office, shops, quality restaurants and great local bars plus much more.

The white sand beaches of the south coast, Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa and Alcaufar are all a 10 minute drive away.

All this makes Torret a relaxing destination whilst still being convenient for all amenities.
